Consciousness is Calling- Will We Answer?

There is a large shift upon the current state of both personal and collective consciousness, and life itself seeks for us to adapt and evolve. Since the beginning of humanity, there have been spiritual disciplines and mythological stories which shed light on the inner way.

The ancient disciplines and mythological stories seem to be a revelation of the past, no longer applicable to contemporary humanity. This could not be further from truth. They are alive today, as they were then.

The path and the coming to a new state of consciousness is here, right now. It is ever-calling in its mysterious ways waiting for us to answer. It seeks for us to know ourselves, to identify our potential, to see our uniqueness, and then to give it a reality in our daily conscious life.

The mysterious stories surrounding the pearl of great price, the hidden treasure in the cave, the boon discovered in the underworld, and so many more, all allude to the inner gold we each possess. In order to discover it, a journey into our inner being, into one’s psychological structure, can be taken.

This journey is a large component of what C.G. Jung called, the path of individuation. The inner way is the path where we come to know ourselves. Hidden within each of us lays our potential and our calling for this life. We are each a puzzle piece. Our duty is to identify our unique piece and place it directly into life’s great way. But first we must identify that which holds us back. We must let go of our falsities, and those “truths” our egos acquired which were never ours to begin with. This is one of the first steps along the path.

The Path, The Untrodden Trail

The path of individuation is a journey to truth. It is both light and dark. It is where we come to know our soul; it is where we come to meet our shadow. It is the place where the veil of illusion is lifted. We begin to see the world with new eyes beyond what we imagined life to be. We move beyond the pressures of conformity, the influence of society, and the conditioning we endured all our lives. It is an adventure like no other where we see life as it actually is. On this great journey is where we discover the Self, the wholeness in which we are. With this psychological and spiritual discovery comes the understanding of our potential and our calling.

With love,

Mark
